DESCRIPTION:A joyful celebration of God’s Creation\n\n\n\n\n\nSt Joseph’s & St Benildus’ Church car park\, Newtown Road\, X91 W6 59 \n\n\n\nAs part of the Season of Creation\, St Joseph’s & St Benildus’ Parish invites families and pet owners to bring their beloved animals for a special blessing\, celebrating the theme of “Living Water” (Ezekiel 47:9\, 12). \n\n\n\nInspired by St Francis of Assisi’s love for all God’s creatures\, this brief and relaxed service – perfect for pets of all temperaments – gives thanks for the gift of our pets and the trust God has shown in placing them in our care. The blessing includes scripture\, a psalm response\, prayers of thanksgiving\, and a blessing of the animals. \n\n\n\nThe event is free and all are welcome: Come and celebrate the gift of our animal companions as part of God’s wonderful creation. \n\n\n\nPlease note: Pet owners remain responsible for their own animals at all times
