Join us this St Stephen’s Day for our annual Sponsored Sea Swim, a much-loved community event that raises much-needed funds for our partner parish in Ishiara, Kenya. Whether you brave the water or cheer from the shore, your support makes a real difference to families and communities in Ishiara.

How to get involved

🏊 Take the plunge
You don’t need to be a seasoned sea swimmer to take part. Running in, ducking down, and getting your shoulders wet all count as a swim. For safety, we recommend staying in the water for no longer than 5 minutes unless you are experienced in cold-water swimming.

👏 Support from the shore
Not tempted by the cold? Come along anyway to cheer on the swimmers and enjoy the great atmosphere. It’s always a friendly and social occasion.

💙 Sponsor a swimmer
Encourage a family member or friend to take part and sponsor them to help boost fundraising efforts.

Fundraising Bonus

Anyone who raises €100 or more will receive a free snood on the day.
Any remaining snoods will be available to purchase at The Strand for €10.

Sponsorship Cards

Sponsorship cards are available from any committee member, the Parish office, the back of both churches.
