Kamarvau Sand Dam

A sand dam is built across a stream/river, thereby trapping rain and silt during the wet season, to be used in dry months.
Over time the silt builds up, and the water becomes embedded in it.  The silt offers several advantages:
it helps to filter the water
it holds the water in a formulation that reduces the presence of mosquito

It is anticipated that up to 100 people (and their animals & gardens) can benefit from this dam.
