What is GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation is European legislation governing personal data which came into effect on 25th May 2018. The following are among the changes being implemented in the parish:
As a result of GDPR , no personal data held in parish records will be visible or accessible to the general public.
All requests for issuing of certificates (eg: Baptismal records, etc ), must be on an official application form and accompanied by photo I.D. A copy of the application form can be downloaded HERE
Only Office Staff will have access to parish computers. All are now password controlled.
Office doors will be closed to the public outside of normal office opening hours.
