  • Annual Cemetery Mass – St Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner

    We warmly invite you to the Annual Cemetery Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ballygunner. The mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th, 2024, at 7:30 PM. All are welcome to join us as we remember and pray for our loved ones. Dress warmly, as the evening can be chilly. Please note: - Due to very restricted parking at the cemetery, An Garda Síochána will run a shuttle bus from Ballygunner Hurling Grounds to the graveyard and back.     From 1st September to 4th October, we join Christians worldwide in celebrating the Season of Creation. During this time, our weekend Masses will highlight God’s gift of Creation through music, reflections, prayers, and opportunities for service.   • Remembrance Mass

    We invite you to join us on Thursday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, as we come together to honour and remember all those who have gone before us - our loved ones who now rest in the sacred grounds of St Mary’s Cemetery. This gathering is a time for reflection, prayer, and gratitude for the lives and legacies of those we hold dear. All are warmly welcome to attend.

  • Lectio Divina – Advent prayer series

    Join us this Advent for a peaceful hour of Lectio Divina. Together we will meditate on the Sunday Gospels as we prepare our hearts for the coming of our Lord. Dates: Thursday evenings, December 4th, 11th, and 18thTime: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pmLocation: St. Joseph and St. Benildus Parish Centre Tea and coffee will be served beforehand, followed by a time of quiet prayer and reflection.   • Advent Reconciliation Service

    As we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, you are warmly invited to our Advent Reconciliation Service on Monday, 15th December at 7.30 pm in SS Joseph & St Benildus Parish. This will be a prayerful opportunity to reflect and experience the peace and renewal that the Sacrament of Reconciliation offers. All are welcome.

  • First Children’s Carol Service

    We are delighted to invite you to our first-ever Children’s Carol Service on Wednesday 17th December at 7.30 pm in SS Joseph & Benildus Church. Through Scripture readings and much-loved Christmas carols, our children will help us prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus. All families are warmly welcome to join us for this joyful new parish tradition.

    Celebrate the festive season with us at the Christmas in Benildus Concert on Monday, 22nd December at 7:30 p.m. in St. Joseph & St. Benildus Church. Join us for an enchanting evening of music, poetry, readings, and Christmas cheer, bringing our community together to celebrate the season.
