Welcome to our Website!

Our parish is the largest parish in the Diocese of Waterford & Lismore. The Central Statistics Office, records 13,751 Roman Catholics in our Parish. The Parish is situated in the south-east of Waterford City, it stretches from St Joseph & St Benildus Church on Newtown Road to St Mary’s Church in Ballygunner.

We are a vibrant faith community with many people involved in Administrative, Liturgical, Formation, and Pastoral Ministries. Our Pastoral Centre, situated adjacent to St Joseph & St Benildus Church is a great resource for our community. Many social events take place here weekly.

You are welcome to look through our website, to find information on any of our ministries and sacraments, to keep updated on the news of the parish, or to contact parish representatives.

We hope you will find our parish website useful. If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding our site, please use our Contact Page.

More importantly if you are exploring and searching these pages, it maybe that  in some way you feel called to serve God and your community, you are not alone. Please contact one of our representatives who are only too willing to discern your call.
