Night Prayer – Compline from the Liturgy of the Hours The Office of the Night Prayer (Compline) is celebrated through the Church and forms part of the Liturgy of the Hours. The Liturgy of the Hours or Divine Office, enriched by readings, is principally a prayer of praise and petition. It is the prayer of the Church with Christ and to Christ.
